U.S. Customs Territory

FCL Cargo

Mandatory ISF (10+2) must be filed 24h prior to loading at origin. All consignees MUST utilize a U.S. Customs Licensed Broker for CBP entry filing.

Consolidated (LCL)

AMS filing required. Cargo is subject to standard CBP / Container Freight Station (CFS) deconsolidation exams and holds.

Reefer Cargo

FDA Prior Notice strictly mandatory for all foodstuffs. USDA APHIS agricultural inspections handled at designated terminal points.

Ro-Ro / Vehicles

EPA and DOT conformity documents required. PR Treasury (Hacienda) excise tax clearance receipt must be validated before gate-out.

Project Cargo

CBP advanced coordination required. DTOP oversized transit permits must be secured for land transport leaving the port.

Breakbulk / Hazmat

U.S. Coast Guard advance notice of arrival required. Mandatory IMO Dangerous Goods manifests must be cleared pre-loading.

DGA Customs Hub

FCL Cargo

DGA SIGA clearance. Active RNC and 24h advanced manifest required. Verified Gross Mass (VGM) certificates enforced for all exports.

Consolidated (LCL)

Pre-declarations in SIGA recommended. Subject to physical DGA inspection. Fumigation certs required for wood packaging.

Reefer Cargo

Ministry of Agriculture (Sanidad) and DNCD inspections required. Continuous temp logs and pre-cooling reports required.

Ro-Ro / Vehicles

Original title (matrícula) required. Plan Piloto (Police) physical chassis inspection mandatory before DGA import tax valuation.

Project Cargo

Direct dispatch coordination with DGA. INTRANT transit permits strictly required for oversized highway transport.

Breakbulk / Hazmat

APORDOM, Environment, and Ministry of Defense approvals must be requested and cleared 48 hours pre-arrival for restricted IMO classes.
